Pay deductions (employer's stated terms)
Optional housing is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis for workers who are relocating to begin employment. Housing units are either owned by the employer or contracted by the employer with local homeowners. Cost of housing is $650.00 per month and includes utilities, Wi-Fi, trash, and snow removal. If used, total cost of housing will be paid directly to the employer or to the local homeowner contracted by the employer. A $650.00 security deposit is required, to be paid directly to employer or homeowner upon acceptance of housing. Employee may receive full security deposit back if the housing is in acceptable condition upon departure. Additional, optional benefits may be offered to worker, for worker’s sole benefit, including but not limited to all employees aged 21 or older are eligible to participate in the company’s 401(k) plan after 12 months of employment with 1000 hours worked in that year.
Requirements
The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least three (3) months of cleaning experience at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club. Applicant must complete pre-employment background check at employer's expense.
Job Duties
Room Attendants will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all rooms, suites, and indoor common areas at Jay Peak’s property, which includes vacuuming floors, dusting, replenishing linens and towels, and disinfecting bathrooms. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 7:00am - 2:00pm or 12:00pm - 7:00pm. Shift hours may vary.
