Housing & Location Vermejo is a remote destination located approximately 40 miles from Raton, New Mexico, and about a 4.5-hour drive from both Denver and Albuquerque. Seasonal employees typically live onsite at Vermejo. Company housing is available in single- and double-bedroom dorm-style accommodations, subject to availability. Depending on housing availability, employees may share a room with one other team member. Because of Vermejo’s remote location, employees are responsible for providing or arranging their own transportation to and from Raton for personal supplies and other needs.
