Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when using the Platform, including: your name and email address when creating an account; housing listing details such as property descriptions, pricing, photos, and contact information; employer profile and job listing details such as company name, job descriptions, compensation, and contact information; city suggestion submissions; messages you send us; and basic usage information such as pages visited and features used.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to operate and maintain the Platform, display housing and job listings to seasonal workers, enable landlords and employers to manage their listings, respond to user inquiries, send service-related emails, improve the Platform based on usage patterns, and produce aggregated, de-identified market reports (see Section 5).

3. Information We Share

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Landlord and employer contact information (email and phone) is displayed on listing pages as part of the Platform's core functionality. We share information with service providers that process it on our behalf to run the Platform: Supabase (database, authentication, and storage), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery), Sentry (error monitoring), and Stripe (payment processing, when paid features are in use). These providers may access data only to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users or the integrity of the Platform.

4. Data We Never Sell

We never sell individual personal information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or browsing behavior to any third party. Your personal data is used only to operate the Platform.

5. Aggregated and De-identified Data

We may produce aggregated, de-identified reports about seasonal housing trends, such as average rental prices by city or seasonal demand patterns. These reports contain no personal information and cannot reasonably be used to identify any individual. They may be shared with or sold to tourism boards, municipalities, or employers for planning purposes. Because they contain no personal information, these reports do not involve the sale of your personal data.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session when you are logged in. Our error-monitoring service (Sentry) may collect technical information such as browser type and the page where an error occurred. When paid features are in use, Stripe may set cookies for fraud prevention during checkout. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels from third-party advertisers. If we adopt analytics tools in the future, we will update this policy.

7. Email Communications

We send service emails related to your account and listings, such as confirmations and listing status updates. We may occasionally send Platform updates; you can opt out of non-essential emails at any time by contacting us or using the opt-out link where provided. Essential service emails cannot be opted out of while you maintain an account.

8. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard cloud infrastructure. We implement reasonable security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction of your data. However, no method of electronic storage is completely secure.

9. Data Retention

We retain your account and listing information while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal information, except for limited records we retain where necessary for legal compliance or to protect the Platform, such as fair-housing moderation records.

10. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. Landlords can delete their listings and accounts through the Platform dashboard. We will respond to data requests within 30 days.

11. State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain states may have additional rights under state privacy laws, such as the right to know, correct, or delete personal information. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. To exercise any privacy right, contact us using the details below.

12. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed to individuals under 18, and users under 18 are not permitted to create accounts. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child, we will delete it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on the Platform.

14. Contact

For questions about this Privacy Policy or to exercise your data rights, email hello@turnseasons.com. We respond to data requests within 30 days.
