Pay deductions (employer's stated terms)
All deductions required by law will be made. Optional housing is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis for workers who are relocating to begin employment. Move-in costs will include security fee (“deposit”) and one month license fee (“rent”). Cost of housing is $800 per month, including utilities. The security fee will be equal to one month license fee and is due within seven days of housing offer. Optional Deductions from Paycheck: Rent will be deducted on a bi-weekly basis from paycheck. Transportation: None. Daily transportation to and from worksite is available for those living in employee housing (free local bus service).
Requirements
Three (3) months of housekeeping experience at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club required. Applicant must complete pre-employment background check. Must be able to lift up to 35-50 lbs unassisted, kneel and bend regularly, and stand for the entire scheduled shift. On-the-Job Training provided. Will Train. Days and Shifts: Following Shifts available 7 days a week including weekends and holidays. Work schedule can vary and may include evening, weekend, and holidays hours. Example shift: 9:00am to 4:00pm. Shift hours may vary. Hourly Wage: $19.75 - $21.46/hr (based on merit and past experience with our company) Possible Wage Increase: Pay raises for returning staff if their experience and skillset meet the requirements for a higher wage. Overtime Possible: Overtime may be available at $29.63 - $32.19/hr. Fringe Benefits: Free ski pass, 50% off rentals, free ski lessons, 30% off retail items, 50% off F&B grab and go, 25% off sit down dining.
Job Duties
Housekeepers will be responsible for cleaning and deep cleaning, which includes any combination of the following: Sweep, mop, scrub, wax, and polish floors; sweep and vacuum rugs and carpet; clean baseboards; shampoo and spot clean carpets; dust and polish furniture and woodwork; empty trash; wash windows; replenish linens and towels; , disinfect bathrooms and full kitchens in all rooms and suites at Winter Park Resort properties.
