Pay deductions (employer's stated terms)
Housing is offered and optional on a first come, first-serve basis for workers who are relocating to begin employment. Cost of housing, including utilities, if accepted, is up to $675.00 per bi-weekly pay period for single occupancy rooms and $337.50 per bi-weekly pay period for multiple occupancy rooms. If used, total cost of housing and utilities will be deducted from paycheck. Additional, optional benefits may be offered to worker, for worker’s sole benefit, including but not limited to medical, vision, and 401k. If voluntarily elected by worker, employee costs/contributions for benefits will be deducted from paycheck. All deductions from paycheck required by law will be made.
Requirements
The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least six (6) months of culinary experience in a high-volume restaurant or hotel kitchen. Applicant must complete pre-employment background check at employers expense.
Job Duties
Cooks will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food items in a restaurant. Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shift: 4:00pm – 12:00am. Shift hours may vary.
