Pay deductions (employer's stated terms)
Emplyr makes all payroll deductions req'd by law. Emplyr does not envision other workforce-wide payroll deductions. Voluntary deductions must be pre-authorized in writing & may include: 1st set of uniforms provided free. Emplyr may deduct cost for voluntary purchase of add'l uniforms for wkr’s benefit. If requested, Emplyr assists non-local wkrs to secure wkr-paid lodging. Emplyr deducts reasonable FMV cost of rent/utilities based on # of wkrs electing to reside in employer-provided housing (cost TBD).Emplyr will deduct for reasonable cost of negligent damage to lodging facilities. Upon separation from employment, emplyr may deduct cost for uniforms, tools, or other property not returned to emplyr .Emplyr provides incidental transport between job sites. Employer offers daily transport to/ from worksite from a centralized designated pick-up place at no cost to wkrs. Use of this transport is voluntary and transport complies w/ all applicable Federal, State, local laws/regs.
Requirements
Must lift/carry 75 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Employer-paid drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work and post-hire at random, upon suspicion of use, and post-accident. Post-hire background check required of foreign and domestic workers. Post-hire motor vehicle record check required only of foreign and domestic workers who drive company vehicles (driving is not a requirement of all workers in the position). Employer may offer more than the stated work hours, depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
Job Duties
Workers will perform commercial and residential landscape maintenance including fall/winter storm cleanup, plow, shovel, and throw snow. Tasks include trimming, planting, fertilizing, raking, mulching, leaf removal, chip ice, spread salt, apply salt treatments to pavement and walks. Snow/ice equipment maintenance. Use hand tools and equipment such as snow shovel, walk-behind plow, snow thrower, salt spreader, ice chippers.
