Pay deductions (employer's stated terms)
Optional housing is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis for workers who are relocating to begin employment. Cost of housing, if accepted, is $300.00 per bi-weekly pay period. If used, total cost of housing will be deducted from paycheck. A $350.00 refundable security deposit is required, to be paid directly to employer upon acceptance of housing. The security deposit may be returned to the employee based on the condition of the housing, at the employer’s sole discretion. Additional, optional benefits may be offered to worker, for worker’s sole benefit, including but not limited to 401K (worker eligible to enroll after 90 days of employment). If voluntarily elected by worker, employee costs/contributions for benefits will be deducted from paycheck.
Requirements
The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least three (3) months of culinary experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club. Applicant must complete pre-employment background check and drug screening at employers expense.
Job Duties
Cooks will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food items in a restaurant. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 9:00am - 4:00pm, or 3:00pm - 10:00pm. Shift hours may vary.
