Pay deductions (employer's stated terms)
All deductions required by law will be made.Housing is offered and optional. Cost of housing, if accepted, is $154 - $210 per week, subject to change. If used, total cost of housing will be deducted from paycheck. A $300 partially refundable security deposit is required, to be paid directly to employer upon acceptance of housing. Up to $200 of deposit may be returned to the employee based on condition of housing, at the employer's sole discretion, at the end of the employment period.Employer also provides a list of available contacts in the Park City area that staff can contact directly.Transportation is not provided. All worksites are accessible by the Park City Transit system. It is free to use.Opt. Deductions from Paycheck: For meals, 401K, health insurance, non- returned company items, housing rent & fines, employee entertainment events and functions.Drug screening is completed randomly, if there is a worksite injury, or if there is damage to Deer Valley prop. that's more than $150
Requirements
Six (6) months of experience in a child care environment. May need to lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Background checks are completed in new hire or rehire onboarding with Human Resources. Drug screening is completed randomly, if there is a worksite injury, or if there is damage to Deer Valley property that is more than $150. On-the-Job Training provided. Will Train. Days and Shifts: 8:00am - 4:30pm, including weekends and holidays. Hourly Wage: $20.00-$27.12 per hour (based on merit and past experience with our company) Overtime may be available at $30.00-$40.68 per hour. Possible Wage Increase: Deer Valley offers pay raises based on performance and merit. Each employee receives a performance review at the end of each season, based on these reviews employees will receive a merit from 0% - 5% for the start of the next winter season. Employee's may receive spot raises based on their performance. Fringe Benefits: Meal plans are $3.50/meal, ski lift passes are free, retail discounts range from 10-20% off in all Deer Valley outlets.
Job Duties
Child Care Teachers will be responsible for feeding, changing and supervising children aged 2 months to 12 years, monitoring children's play activities, maintaining a safe play environment, communicating with children's parents or guardians about daily activities and behaviours, attending to children's personal needs, serving food and assisting in any special events or activities. Child Care Teachers may need to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
