Pay deductions (employer's stated terms)
Optional housing is offered on a first-come, first-served basis to employees who are relocating. Cost of housing if accepted, is $135.00 per week, plus a $150.00 one-time, non-refundable cleaning deposit. If used, total cost of housing will be deducted from paycheck. One-time cleaning deposit will be paid directly to the employer. Additional, optional benefits are offered to workers, for workers’ sole benefit, including but not limited to a 401k plan eligible for workers over age 21 and after 90 days of employment. If voluntarily elected by workers, employee costs/contributions for benefits will be deducted from the paycheck.
Requirements
The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least three (3) months of culinary experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club. Applicant must complete a pre-employment background check at employers expense.
Job Duties
Line Cooks will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food items in a restaurant. Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 8:00am - 4:00pm, 9:00am - 5:00pm, or 2:00pm - 10:00pm. Shift hours may vary. Please see job description for additional information.
