Pay deductions (employer's stated terms)
All deductions required by law will be made.Housing is offered and opt. Cost of housing, if accepted, is $154-$210/wk, subject to change. If used, total cost of housing will be deducted from paycheck. A $300 partially refundable sec. dep. is req., to be pd dir. to er upon acceptance of housing. Up to $200 of dep. may be returned to the ee based on cond. of housing, at the employer's sole discretion, at the end of the emp. period. Emp. also provides a list of avail. contacts in the PC area that staff can contact directly. Daily Transportation is not provided. All wrksites are accessible by the PC Transit system. It is free to use. Opt. Deduc. from Paycheck:For meals, 401K, health ins., non-returned company items, housing rent & fines, employee entertainment events and functions. Background checks are completed in new hire or rehire onboarding with Human Resources. Drug screening is completed randomly,if there is a worksite injury, or if there is damage to DV prop. that's more than $150.
Requirements
3 months of housekeeping experience. Ability to handle multiple tasks. Must be able to lift 25-35 lbs. May need to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and walk between buildings, as necessary. Background checks are completed in new hire or rehire onboarding with Human Resources. Drug screening is completed randomly, if there is a worksite injury, or if there is damage to Deer Valley property that is more than $150. Multiple shifts between 7am-5pm with the possibility of staying past 5pm for operational needs, including weekends and holidays. Hourly Wage:$21.00-$29.10 per hour (based on merit and past experience with our company). Overtime may be available at $31.50-$43.65 per hour. Deer Valley offers pay raises based on performance and merit. Each employee receives a performance review at the end of each season, based on these reviews employees will receive a merit from 0% - 5% for the start of the next winter season. Employees may receive spot raises based on their performance. Fringe Benefits: Meal plans are $3.50/meal, ski lift passes are free, retail discounts range from 10-20% off in all Deer Valley outlets.
Job Duties
Housekeepers will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining hotel rooms, condos, town homes and single family homes at Deer Valley Resort’s properties, which includes vacuuming floors, dusting, replenishing linens and towels, disinfecting bathrooms, washing windows and trash removal. Housekeepers may need to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and walk between buildings, as necessary.
