Pay deductions (employer's stated terms)
Optional housing is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis for workers who are relocating to begin employment. Cost of housing, if accepted, is $300.00 per bi-weekly pay period. If used, total cost of housing will be deducted from paycheck. The first two weeks’ rent plus a $300.00 refundable security deposit is required, to be paid directly to employer upon acceptance of housing. While not preferred, employee can set up a payment plan if they are unable to pay the $300.00 deposit up front. Housing deposit will be refunded at employer’s sole discretion based upon the condition of the unit at move-out.
Requirements
The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least three (3) months of experience at a high-volume restaurant, resort, or private club.
Job Duties
Dishwashers will be responsible for washing dishes and all cooking materials by machine or hand, maintaining kitchen work areas and equipment in clean condition, sweeping and scrubbing floors, and sorting and removing trash. Dishwashers will also wash, peel, chop, slice, portion, and properly store, label, and date ingredients. Dishwashers may prepare simple menu components such as salads, sauces, dressings, and garnishes (without cooking). Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 2:00pm - 9:00pm and 3:00pm - 10:00pm.
